Table 3 depicts depression subscale, 9.82% of participants were reported mild depressive symptoms and moderate depression was found in 8.03%. According to another study, the reliability of DASS-21 has excellent Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.81, 0.89, and 0.78 for the subscales of depressive, anxiety, and stress, respectively. Study participants were health-care providers (doctors, nurses, ward boys, aaya bai, and laboratory technicians) who were involved in COVID-19 duties. The survey was done among 112 health-care providers which included doctors, nurses, wardboy/aayabai, and laboratory technicians. This is a cross-sectional, hospital-based study conducted from August 2020 to December 2020 in a COVID-19 dedicated tertiary health-care facility of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Despite this, the mental health issues of the front-line HCWs and other health workers are often overlooked.
Descriptive statistics were also computed to Mental health providers during COVID-19 describe logistics of providing care (e.g., method of seeing clients, frequencies of appointments and number of clients seeking services), and perceived quality of care, relationships, and communication with clients among providers who continued practicing following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The social stress of the pandemic coupled with risk mitigation strategies has significant clinical implications on these factors that must be explored (Ghosh et al., 2020). Exploring these considerations will create a comprehensive understanding of the capacity for the mental health system to manage existing patients and accommodate new patients for the remainder of pandemic and once it is resolved. Despite this knowledge, it is unknown how providers are managing care for current and new patients following the onset of the pandemic. Most practicing providers reported similar-to-increased caseloads (62%), new patients seeking services (67%), and appointment frequency (70%).

To be included in our study, participants were required to work in one of the areas of the healthcare sector, either in private or in public institutions.
People who have or had COVID-19
Already, more than 150 million people live in federally designated mental health professional shortage areas. Yet the United States does not have nearly enough mental health professionals to treat everyone who is suffering. Fear of contracting the deadly virus, the loss of loved ones, painful social isolation, economic setbacks, and other powerful stressors eroded the well-being of communities across the country. Telemental health has the potential to be beneficial, especially for marginalized communities.
